    Dear Friends,

When you step into the lobby of the Prairie Diagnostic Center at St. John's Hospital, right away you will feel a more comfortable approach to cardiac catheterization, cardiac CT scan and vascular ultrasound testing.

If you are here for a cardiac catheterization, you will stay in one of our restful rooms with continuous monitoring and move easily to and from the diagnostic lab. If you are visiting us for a cardiac CT scan you will be taken to a private dressing room next to the testing area. For vascular ultrasounds, you will be taken to a private room for your test.

Your cardiologist's office will schedule your testing at the Prairie Diagnostic Center at St. John's Hospital. Someone from St. John's pre-registration department will call to register you before your scheduled procedure date.

You may return to normal activity after leaving the Center. Within 72 hours of your testing your cardiologist will discuss the results of your procedure and provide a treatment plan for you.

If you must cancel your appointment, please notify your doctor's office at least 24 hours in advance.

The staff and physicians of the Prairie Diagnostic Center at St. John’s Hospital are committed to providing exceptional service for you. We pride ourselves on practicing state-of-the-art cardiovascular care in an environment that not only meets your needs, but your family as well.

    Sincerely,
    Jeffrey Goldstein, MD
