Admitting Procedure
- The Prairie Heart Institute entrance is located at 619 E. Mason Street.
- Valet parking is available at that entrance, or you may park in the Mason Street Ramp.
- You will be contacted by the hospital at least two days prior to your scheduled test.
- If you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card. If you have a Living Will or a Durable Power of Attorney or any written orders, please bring them with you as well.
- Leave all valuables at home or with a family member. Dress in comfortable clothing and shoes.
- If you have special needs relating to a disability, hearing disorder, or if you need an interpreter, please let the Outpatient Admitting Office (217-544-6464, ext. 50650) know this prior to your arrival.
- If you have questions, call the Centralized Scheduling Department at 217-757-6565.
- Once registration is complete, you will be directed to the department for your test. Maps and other information to assist you will be available.
