• Acupuncture

Acupuncture is used to treat energy imbalances that often result in pain and illness. During treatment, the acupuncturist inserts very fine, disposable needles at specific energy pathways, which can impact muscles, nerves and organs. Acupuncture helps decrease pain, inflammation and fatigue and strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal.

We can bill your insurance company for acupuncture if it is a covered service under your plan. It is your responsibility to call your benefits department and confirm that the service is reimbursable. It is important you let the insurance company know that St. John's Hospital is the provider. Once you know that your insurance reimburses acupuncture, we can assist you in obtaining an order from your physician and pre-registering as an outpatient.
